Your 8-night adventure begins in Tahiti, the largest island in French Polynesia. Upon arrival in Papeete, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling capital. If time allows, explore the local Public Market which is brimming with tropical fruits, flowers, and a variety of handcrafted souvenirs.

A short flight takes you to the breathtaking island of Bora Bora, renowned for its stunning lagoon with many shades of blue. Spend your days snorkeling or diving in the crystal-clear waters. Included in your four night stay is a half-day lagoon tour where you’ll snorkel amongst colorful fish, black-tipped sharks and stingrays! At the end of each day, retreat to the tropical sanctuary that is your Garden Villa with your own private pool.

Today your journey continues to the serene island of Taha’a, known as the "Vanilla Island" due to its extensive vanilla plantations. Enjoy your days of relaxation on secluded beaches, go kayaking along the shoreline or take an optional tour of the island of Taha’a to learn more about the vanilla production and Tahitian culture. Be sure to drift snorkel the Coral Gardens and witness the vibrant underwater world. Savor romantic dinners at your resort, with fresh seafood and local Tahitian delicacies accented with French flair, as you gaze out at the starlit sky.

All too soon, you will take the 35-minute boat ride back to Raiatea for your flight to Papeete and on to Los Angeles. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences and the beauty of French Polynesia as you bid farewell to this tropical paradise.

Taha'a

Taha'a

There is a large, protected lagoon around Raiatea and its sister island Taha'a, which produces wonderful beaches and the perfect location for sailing, big game fishing, and diving. Tahaa is only accessible by boat and has little tourism activity, although it affords visitors ideal spots to picnic, dive and hike. It also grows about 80 percent of all the vanilla in Polynesia.

Bora Bora

Bora Bora

Bora Bora is considered one of the most romantic places anywhere. Dominant from the moment of arrival are majestic Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia, two towering volcanic peaks of black rock jutting out of the center of the emerald-green island. Often shrouded in clouds, these landmarks take on mysterious and mythical qualities. Off-road excursions, bicycling, and hiking into this wild beauty reveal incredible panoramas and valleys. Hundreds of brilliantly-colored fish, intricate gardens, and clear water also create some of the very best undersea worlds. For an exhilarating expedition, swim with and watch local divers feed small, non-dangerous lagoon sharks. Bora Bora has several ancient temples and authentic Polynesian villages. There are also some reminders of World War II with a number of cannon emplacements left behind by the U.S. Navy.
